An extreme sensitivity and openness, a beautiful mind, creativity and hard work characterise Andrés Lara, the talented chef who is now the Cacao Barry® regional Chef for Asia Pacific based out of the Tokyo Chocolate Academy. He gained many important experiences before starting to work for Cacao Barry®.

Some of Andrés most notable mentors include (Jacquy Pfeiffer, Sebastien Canonne, Paco Torreblanca, Ramon Morato and Albert Adrià - to name a few) with work experience from Chicago’s Park Hyatt Hotel to elBulli, Noma, and beyond. Andrés continues to reinvent himself through his food science forward approach to pastry, and his endless pursuit to push the boundries of flavor.
